BIO

My name is Caroline Slingsby, and I am a 2029 Catcher/First Base from Satellite Beach, Florida. I am a freshman at Satellite High School, and softball has been a huge influence on my life. I have been playing since I was 8 years old. Softball has taught me many things that I use daily, whether it’s off or on the field. Softball has taught me leadership, time management, how to care and form bonds with others, determination, humbleness, confidence, and more. Softball has also allowed me to make lifelong friends with my teammates.

I knew that softball was my passion from the first time I stepped foot on the field. Playing college softball is my dream, and I’m determined to make that a reality by giving it everything I can. Outside of softball, I can usually be found with my teammates, whether we are at the beach, watching a movie, or getting in those extra reps. I hope to study business. It would be a very amazing opportunity to play at the next level, and I am excited to live that dream.

My name is Taylor Cooley, a Class of 2028 Second Baseman and Center Fielder from Satellite Beach, Florida. I currently attend Satellite High School, where I maintain a 3.9 GPA while taking Honors and AP courses. Though I have a diverse athletic background in dance and volleyball, softball is my true passion and top priority.

Softball has taught me the importance of hustle, confidence, discipline, and caring for my teammates. I am currently playing my first year of travel ball with the Beachside Sirens. Being part of this team has shown me the power of coming together to compete and grow, both in focused practices and fun tournaments. I am constantly pushing myself to improve every day, driven by the mindset to never give up. I believe that with my work ethic on the field and in the classroom, I have what it takes to compete at the college level.
